Jean B.C, Digital Transformation Catalyst at the Engineering Performance department of Renault, explains how the OEM intends to combine 3D and AI to explore new concepts faster, by correlating multiple data that were until then unexploited.
'We are also looking at what is happening in the statup ecosystem, a continuous and rich source of innovation. This is how we started our collaboration with Dessia Technologies, since 2019. They succeeded in putting into equations, in the same model, the 3D and the functional requirements, through algorithms, in order to make them communicate - which allows to accelerate the exploration phases of the project'
